The VARA Corporation

Since many of our readers have inquired about the background of the
secretive VARA Mega-Corporation I was assigned to investigate into the
corporation's past. When I vidded up their main offices I was
eventually put through to a suit who seemed more concerned with
getting me off his beautifully suited back than answering questions.
His response to my questions about the ownership and purpose of the
corporation were met with this reply:
The VARA Corporation is owned by a coalition of independent
entrepreneurs dedicated to the systematic reconstruction of individual
and socio-consensual realities. This is achieved by the manipulation
of individual and group perceptions through biochemical, mental, or
other stimulations...
Among the sparse clippings about the Corporation that I found in the
Night City library I found a few scraps that began to form a vague
outline of its history.
